The ancient Egyptians used turquoise and lapis lazuli in their jewelry to represent the sea and sky. This necklace incorporates turquoise coin and barrel beads. The faceted teardrops and carved scarab beads are made of howlite, dyed to look like lapis lazuli. The small accent beads are lapis lazuli and blue agate. The hammered spirals and handmade clasp are sterling silver. On the handmade pendant, there are two clusters of Swarovski crystals. The necklace is 18 inches long. Many of the beads in this necklace are no longer available. This is a one of a kind item.
