Morgan's Copper Wire Mask

This is a wire wrapped, filigree style mask made of sealed copper colored wire and black satin ribbons. Morgan, web master extraordinaire and now guest artist, made this for the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball 2008 in Hollywood, CA. This piece is reminiscent of horn-rimmed glasses, and like some glasses it tends to pinch a little on the bridge of the nose. This discomfort is minimal as the mask can be bent carefully without distortion for a custom fit. Stay tuned for new versions of this mask incorporating pearls. See related projects below.
