Hair Jewelry
Barrettes, combs, hair sticks, diadems, fillets, crowns, circlets, tikka, embellished bobby pins, sparkling garlands... Before Maggie can provide metal work diadems and circlets, she has to get her hands on an anvil... she needs some other tools, too, but the anvil is by far the funniest of them. For the time being, Maggie likes to make a piece of jewelry she calls a garland that is one single strand of decorated bead work designed to be versatile; wear it in the front, or the back; twist or weave the ends into hair or wrap around a bun and allow decorative ends to hang pendulously.
